So its been a minute since my last post. Which has mostly been due to laziness, and partially listening to a lot of stuff right now weeding out the feces for your audio cravings. Oh well I guess its about time to just shut the fuck up Donnie! Listen and enjoy!

TIRED OF BEING LABELED
Lately I've been bored with most of the blogs I frequent, I don't know if I'm getting pickier or the blogs are becoming stagnant. But have no fear! For the past week or so i've been doing some digging, further into the outer limits of disco breaks. I stumbled upon DC Recordings with 26 artists there was a lot of library to check out. Though every group had breaks encompassed in their sound, I was pulled toward the groups with eerie psyche organs over some dirty bass. So without hyping to much on shit I'm new to I give you: The Emperor Machine, Padded Cell, Vincent Markowski enjoy.

The New Guy and a Holy Ghost
So I wanted to start my first post off proper with a group that I think is doing BIG things this year: Holy Ghost!
I started hearing about them early 2008, when the hints of disco were all over the place but no one really wanted to call it that. Which was kinda of ok with me mostly because of the stigma that goes with the 70's disco lifestyle corny ass BeeGees. But todays disco has more to it a certain bboy quality which is what I like to play out at gigs these days. Whether its original material, remixes, or being mashed Holy Ghost! have dance floor killer written all over them.
So check them out here

TiTAN
I stumbled across this little jammy and thought it was worth sharing. TiTAN has a fresh little newschool disco-house flavor.. guaranteed to keep the ladies on the dance floor. Peep the track and dont forget to swing by their space to show some love. Holla holla.
